Enduro racing, all-mountain shredding, heart-pounding trail rides in backcountry terrain.
Packed with features, the Super 2 helmet offers so much. The beauty of this helmet is that the technology mimics the Super 2R, but does not feature the chin bar, but it is compatible with the chin bar. Also the Overbrow ventilation offers coolness when times are hot and the TAG Fit system offers extreme comfort. All this combines into a helmet that delivers outstanding performance.
MIPS is a revolutionary technology, providing protection in terms of angled impacts. The unique protection system comes from more than 16 years of studying the human brain, and mimicks the fluid in your brain in order to create a sliding layer between the helmet and the head. This reduces the rotation force otherwise transmitted to the brain.
GoggleGuide Adjustable Visor System
The GoggleGuide Adjustable Visor system allows riders to manage their eyewear with minimal intrusion on their ride. The flexible system accommodates both goggles and glasses, and works either with visor installed or without, using the goggle retention arms.
Twin Axis Gear (TAG) Fit System
The next generation Twin Axis Gear (TAG) fit system adjusts to the head on two axes - circumferentially as standard fit systems do, but also vertically to better accommodate differences in the up/down position of the occipital lobe. The arms with are co-moulded with soft rubber for added comfort and positioned higher to better accommodate eye wear. The result is the most adjustable, comfortable and easy-to-fit system ever.
Overbrow Ventilation System
The overbrow ventilation system uses carefully placed and shaped vents that helps channel in cool air and draw out heat and moisture. You can now stay cool, comfortable and more focused on your ride whatever the temperature.
Antimicrobial X-Static Padding
Woven with real silver fibres, X-Static Padding is made from a quick-drying and anti-microbial material that inhibits growth of odour-causing bacteria and fungi while keeping your head cooler than standard padding.
In-Mold Polycarbonate Shell
In-molding is the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. The EPS foam is shot into the thin microshell cap when it's in the mold - thus the name - rather than formed separately and taped on later.
From Grand Prix racing through to the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the benevolent leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell's commitment to racing, quality and innovation. More world champions have worn Bell cycling Helmets than all other helmet brands combined.
