The grip and stability provided by the X Ultra 3 Mid GTX is formed in the base of the shoe. A Nonmarking Contragrip outsole has been used to gain added traction and control over varied terrain. The science behind Salomon’s contragrip technology uses different strengths and shapes of rubber across the sole, resulting in greater control and flexibility when wearing. Foothold
Salomon’s X Ultra 3 Mid GTX Shoes are produced with a waterproof coated leather, allowing you to stay dry and comfortable in all weather conditions. To combat internal moisture, support is provided through Gore-Tex extended comfort membrane, increasing breathability allowing you to remain comfortable at all times.

Sensifit technology has been included for more challenging hikes, softly cradling the foot, Sensifit prevents slippage and allows you to enjoy more stability and control on descents.
