Unrivalled Head Protection
From the thrills and speed of flowing singletrack through to the demands of steep, rocky and rooty trails, the Altec Helmet, now with Fidlock magnetic closure, provides reassuring head protection when you lose grip and take a fall.
Head protection comes by the way of two impact-absorbing technologies. First, you have a Multi-Density EPS foam construction. This provides shock absorption when there's an impact, dissipating and reducing the impact forces upon your head.
Next comes the Smartshock® Rotational Protective System. This system of internal elastomer bumpers helps protect the brain from the rotational forces involved in a crash, letting you dust yourself down and keep riding when it all goes wrong.
Go with the (Air) Flow
No matter what type of mountain biking you enjoy, you'll soon be generating some heat and sweat. But with a total of 15 large ventilation ports, you'll enjoy a cooling rush of air across your head. Cool air comes in while warm, moist air is directed efficiently out of the exhaust vents.
Meanwhile, inside the helmet, the quick-wicking anti-microbial liner keeps you fresh and it's washable too, so no itchy head annoyance after a fun day on the hill.

When it comes to dialling in the fit the Altec makes it easy. No matter how rough and rowdy the terrain the Adjustable Ratcheting Fitment System ensures you can keep the helmet secure via a simple twist of the rear dial. And with the ease of the Fidlock system, it's a cinch to get your lid on and off.
The multi-point, adjustable visor optimises protection and vision while allowing easy stowage of goggles and if you're a rider who prefers sunglasses, the sunglasses storage system is a welcome addition. Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
