This isn't a jacket for taking it easy in. Rather, the aerodynamically efficient Women's DYORA RS Winter Cycling Jacket excels the harder you press on the pedals and the more watts you push out. Created for the pro-athlete and demanding year-round rider, Assos have carefully and precisely engineered every textile to be 'activated' with effort. It creates a winter-proof jacket with the very best balance of insulation and exceptional breathability, perfectly regulating body temperature during your long training rides and races.
Engineered Excellence
Its exceptional performance is made possible by its unique construction, material mix and a new breed of remarkably light softshell fabrics called SPHERE. This replaces Assos' long-running Stratagon and offers membrane-equipped materials of variable thicknesses to tune waterproofing and flexibility perfectly for cycling hard.
The inner front panel is made of several ultrathin layers of SPHERE. It's akin to a mid-layer chest protector and is brilliant at wicking moisture away to the outer layers. Then comes 3-layer wind- and waterproof SPHERE Light to the outside. Brushed on the inside it provides both warmth and weather protection. A thicker and more insulating version of the same 3-layer material is used across the upper back and forearms, boosting warmth.
To boost climate control, Assos have deployed their Diffusor “valves” at the shoulders, allowing air inside to prevent overheating. Moving to the back, OSMOS Heavy is the most insulating of Assos' brushed-backed materials. And the jacket’s built-in mid-layer is made with lighter, more breathable OSMOS Light while the upper arms are wrapped in windproof warp-knit 3L ZigZaggy Foam.
Assos Layering System
The Women's Dyora RS Winter Jacket forms part of a cycling layering system, engineered to work beautifully together. For most winter conditions it works perfectly as a stand-alone winter jacket. However, for extremely harsh conditions use it with an Assos Thermobooster Mid Layer for added insulation.
