The Women's DYORA RS Winter Bib Tights S9 have been developed to keep you warm and protected when it's time to build your winter mileage. These latest women's specific S9 winter tights improve upon the legendary Bonka tights, with even better protection from the cold and an increase in weather protection while minimising excess bulk.
This is achieved via brush-backed OSMOS Heavy material to boost warmth used in combination with windproof, breathable and water-resistant SPHERE ultra and Sphere medium softshell materials. You'll find these extra protective zones of SPHERE softshell across the knees, thighs, crotch, and hips, in a two-layer construction, backed with the insulating OSMOS Heavy.
A Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish is also applied, along with taped seams across the front panels, both preventing rain, sleet or snow from immediately soaking in during your ride. Assos' Geoprene outermost layer at the bottom of the leg also repels rain and road spray. It also gives a smooth seal with your winter overshoes.
As a result of the cutting-edge fabric technology and construction, you'll enjoy a superb level of protection and performance in even the most challenging of winter cycling conditions.
A-Lock Engineering
Winter often means many hours on the bike, building your aerobic fitness at a steady pace. For those long base mileage rides, you'll soon find the A-Lock Engineering framework offers a sublimely comfortable fit. This offers a smooth, compressive fit, keeping your muscles supple and free for easy pedalling. Meanwhile, the ergoBox stitch pattern and external rollBar bib straps lock the tights in place, holding the seat insert perfectly in place. As your body moves in and out of the saddle and your weight shifts, your sit bones will remain fully supported atop the centre of the insert.
Women's Dyora RS Insert
At the heart of the tights is the race-proven Women's Dyora RS Insert seat pad. The pad utilises lightweight open-cell superAir microShock foam to provide support and shock absorption. And it's quick to return to its original volume, filling the gap every time your pedalling position is changed in the saddle through a shift of weight. The foam is orientated in Assos' 3D waffle, a 3-layer system that boosts breathability and reduces weight and bulk. The goldenGate design also optimises flexibility for irritation-free pedalling.
