Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

Customer Service Advisor – Bike Product Expert

Location: Portsmouth

Title: Technical Customer Service Advisor – Bike Product Expert

Position type: Permanent Full Time

Do you understand the importance of outstanding customer service?

As a customer service product expert you will be representing Wiggle, assisting and advising customers via Live Chat, Email and Phone with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to provide detailed product information and recommendations and resolve issues.

What will I be doing?

Working as part of the customer service team you will be responsible for helping maintaining Wiggle’s global service levels across all media and contact types. Supporting customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

What hours will I work?

2 Week rotating shift pattern

Week 1:  06:00 – 14:00

Week 2:  14:00 – 22:00

1 in 4 weekends shifts between 10:00 – 18:00

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email
  • Offer technical support on the whole Wiggle product range, with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to provide detailed product information and recommendations and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are conducted in a professional and courteous manner
  • Offering alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring, responding and resolving customer queries on Social media
  • Monitoring and responding to customers product reviews and questions across various platforms
  • Any other Customer service related task

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Show a sound knowledge of bikes/parts with an eagerness to further advance this knowledge in respect to Tri-sports equipment and products.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and aiming for excellence in delivery
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment as part of a professional team
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, have high standards and be capable of multi-tasking

Central Merchandising Analyst

Job Title:  Central Merchandising Analyst

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Central Merchandising Analyst to join the team in Portsmouth. 

 

You will produce high quality information that supports short- and long-term forecasting, standardise ways of working and improve processes across the WiggleCRC Merchandising teams. 

What will you be doing 

 

  • Communicating Forecast updates to the Operations and Finance teams in a timely manner, ensuring that it is suitable for their needs   

  • Producing high quality Forecast Accuracy analysis and relevant financial analysis  

  • Undertaking markdown and promotion costings, calculating the impact on stock, sales and margin  

  • Analysing the past performance of promotions to enhance the modelling of future ones in SO99+ • Ensuring SO99+ contains all the business planning inputs such as new product information and promotions for relevant products  

  • Supporting the Merchandising Teams in conducting demand management activities basis through exception alerts in SO99+  

  • Collaborating with the Replenishment Teams to conduct root cause analysis on Availability, Overstocks and Understocks driven by Forecast Variability and Performance  

  • Carrying out ad-hoc analytics exercises for business planning 

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • Merchandising experience required, with minimum 2 years Junior Merch or above  

  • MS Excel – Advanced, MS Outlook , MS Word  

  • Understands and can explain the principles of root cause analysis

Japanese Speaking Online Marketing Manager

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit a Japanese Speaking Online Marketing Manager to cover our Asia region. 

What will you be doing 

You will be responsible for the growth of Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles websites across Asia through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share across Paid Search, Shopping, Organic Search, Affiliates, Social and Remarketing.    

 

This role requires a close working relationship with other Online Marketing teams as well as other internal departments (including Country Managers and Translators).  

Responsibilities: 

  • Create, own and deliver an online marketing plan for Asia 

  • Maximise sales and profitability 

  • Grow market share in the tri sports market across Asia 

  • Execute and develop paid search, affiliate and display campaigns for WiggleCRC  

  • Work with Country Managers and Translation team to ensure traffic generating opportunities are maximised 

  • Identify new third party partners to increase external visibility of Wiggle content 

  • Maximise sales of our house brand products 

  • Regular analysis of campaign performance 

  • Close working relationship with WiggleCRC Digital Strategy team to ensure latest technologies and best practices are adopted  

  • Identify opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets 

  • Own content plan to help grow organic traffic 

  • Other work as required by the team 

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • Japanese language skills required 

  • Excellent communicator in English required

Warehouse Team Leader

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Team Leader, to be based at our Bilston site on a permanent basis, working on a rotating shift pattern.

 

What will you be doing

 

As the Warehouse Team Leader you will manage an area of the operation as directed to a high operational standard, through delivery of agreed service levels and KPI targets, managing the team in the work area, ensuring that the work is assigned appropriately and that the team work accurately and efficiently in accordance to performance targets as well as safety protocol. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work as part of the leadership team supporting the FM to deliver effective operational performance and in exceeding KPI measures.
  • Manage your departmental team in all aspects of throughput and performance and monitor and control individual performance and feedback.
  • Drive high standards to ensure that company fulfilment targets are met
  • Take responsibility for resolving any inefficiencies within the operation that could lead to SLAs not being achieved
  • Work with other team leaders and departmental managers to allocate resources appropriately to relieve work pressures where required
  • Ensure that work is being assigned effectively by the shift coordinators
  • Manage attendance process, including return to work interviews, sickness absence meetings, welfare meetings, OH referrals etc ensuring full compliance with HR guidelines
  • Manage colleague behavior and, where appropriate, undertake coaching, disciplinary investigations and disciplinary hearings when required
  • Undertake colleague performance reviews in a constructive and productive way ensuring that colleagues understand performance targets and expectations and have improvement plans in place where required
  • Conduct team briefings to keep colleagues informed of performance targets and expectations
  • Drive Continuous Improvement across the site by using MBWA (Management by Walking Around) and 5s
  • Ensure that the highest health and safety standards are adhered to and any incidents or accidents are investigated, and any reporting requirements completed and improvement actions carried out
  • Set the next shift up for success by ensuring that there is an accurate handover in place.
  • Produce comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, objectives and deadlines using the WMS (Red Prairie)

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Experience in a team leader role (or higher)
  • Experience working in a warehouse or operations environment
  • Working knowledge of a WMS system is essential

Warehouse Quality Assurance Operative

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Quality Assurance Operative to join them on a permanent basis in Bilston 

What will you be doing?

 

The Quality Assurance Operative will support the development of, adherence to and continuous improvement to site standards through the development of standards and the auditing, investigation and resolution of any deviations.

Who are we looking for?

Key Job Accountabilities:

 

  • Audit the warehouse processes to ensure both internal and external regulations and standards are being adhered to
  • Drive continuous improvement of core processes to ensure warehouse quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized
  • Train warehouse staff on quality procedures, protocols, and documentation
  • Maintain Quality Assurance documentation, including ensuring auditing and process documentation is kept up to date
  • Develop the standard measurements for processes to be compared against
  • Inspect and test processes and procedures – take measurements and compare to a predefined standard
  • Investigate measurements that are found to deviate from standards
  • Coordinate investigation of quality issues with customers and suppliers
  • Review, approve and communicate root cause and corrective action to stakeholders
  • Train and provide assistance to less experienced members of the QA team on quality procedures, protocols, and documentation

Bike Technician

Job Title: Bike Technician

What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will work on the assembly of bikes in line with PDI process

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and configuration of high quality bikes before dispatch.
  • Monitoring and assessing quality of completed bikes using quality checklists
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
  • Completion of regular housekeeping duties


Who are we looking for?

  • The ability to demonstrate proficiency in bike assembly
  • Proven working experience and the ability to clearly demonstrate a solid understanding in the pre delivery inspection process

Service Desk Analyst

Job Title:  Service Desk Analyst

Location:  Portsmouth

Position type: Full time, 6 months - Fixed Term Contract  

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join the team in our Portsmouth office for a 6 months fixed term contract.

What will you be doing?

You will co-ordinate the effort and manage the SLA’s for incidents, problems and requests from first point of contact to completion.  You will be accountable for accurate and timely updates from resolver teams, linking incidents to problems, identifying problem through trend analysis. 

Responsibilities

  • Face to face and remote IT and application support to the Wiggle business
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers in line with all agreed support contracts
  • Provide cover for the IT Zone between the hours of 8am-6pm as when required
  • Performing service requests raised to the team including accounts set up, software installations.
  • Pro-actively identify problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability.
  • To assist in transition process from either an internal or external IT development team into IT support.
  • Create and maintain IT support documentation where missing or incorrect.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing Service Improvements Supporting users at offices in various geographical locations. Travel may occasionally be required

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as 1st line support
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework.
  • Windows 7 and 10 administration experience.

Merchandiser

Job Title: Merchandiser

Location: Portsmouth

Position type: Fixed Term Contract

Maternity cover 6-9 months FTC

Wiggle CRC are currently looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join the Portsmouth team on a fixed term contract.

What will you be doing?

The Merchandiser is the overall owner of the range framework, ensuring full analysis has been considered, in line with any known future trends to design an overall plan to enable the Buyer to deliver an edited range of the best products for each customer segment. This must be done within the overall Department budgeted parameters, and controlled / re-forecast in season, with full communication to the wider business. The Merchandiser owns the overall Department P&L and is responsible for modelling price promotions and clearance activities, and keeping the range performing within the agreed parameters (Budget / agreed re-forecasts).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sign off the department budget
  • Design and sign off the Department Assortment Plan
  • Use historical analysis and market trends effectively to justify forward plans
  • Identify the required sourcing strategy for the Department
  • Manage the in-season reforecasting process
  • Manage the range within the agreed parameters (width of range, clearance at end of lifecycle etc)
  • Accurate costing of Department Price Changes
  • Communicate key information to the wider business (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Finance etc)

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of Merchandising within a similar retailer, or highly performing individual from within the business looking to progress
  • Must be highly numeric with good skills in Excel and Powerpoint, with Oracle Retail an advantage.
  • Have good commercial understanding of the product set, with wider market knowledge.
  • Understand the principles of balanced attribute range building, and able to construct and operate within a budgeted framework.
  • Able to create buying framework and manage the Buyer to operate within this

Change and Release Analyst

Job Title:  Change & Release Analyst

Location:  Portsmouth

Position type: Full time, Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Leave)

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit a Change & Release Analyst to join the team in Portsmouth of a Fixed Term Contract for 10 months.

What will you be doing?

You will maintain the Change, Release and Service Introduction processes ensuring efficient and prompt handling of change, coordination of releases and effective handover of projects into IT Service Operations.

Responsibilities:  

  • Receive, record, categorise and distribute Change Controls and arrange for authorisation or rejection within agreed timescales and at appropriate level of authority
  • Manage and distribute the Forward Schedule of Change and ensure all parties receive the maximum period of notice of any down time
  • Review all implemented RFCs to ensure that objectives have been met
  • Deputise for the Change and Release Manager as authority on Change
  • Chair the Change Advisory Board Meeting when required
  • Support the WiggleCRC Release Management process ensuring all releases are appropriately scheduled, tested and planned
  • Ensure appropriate level of testing has been successfully completed to assure the release is fit for use
  • Use appropriate tools to track all releases through the SDLC
  • Ensure the correct resource is available and informed for all releases
  • Create and distribute appropriate business and technical communications for all releases
  • Generate and distribute release documentation
  • Work with third party support teams to schedule requested and required releases into live environments
  • Ensure early engagement with project teams for all small and medium sized projects to assist in planning for what is required to transition into the live environment
  • Coordinate the creation and completion of artefacts as per the Service Introduction process, such as: Support Models, SLAs, OAT Test Plans, Training Analysis, Training Plans and Early Life Support Plans
  • Manage service transition plans and status updates for activities and deliverables
  • Provide single point of contact to the project for delivering service introduction activities

Who are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of ITIL Process Framework preferable
  • Some experience of Service Delivery Tools (SysAid preferably)
  • Ability to prioritise work and deliver to deadlines
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills are essential as are strong stakeholder management skills

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Merchandiser to join the team.

What will you be doing?

As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for Range and Assortment planning within a budgeted framework which reflects current & past seasonal trends. Working in partnership with the Buyer to select a customer centric balanced range. You will manage a team to ensure that Sales, Margin, Stock & Intake are reported, managed and achieved to meet the budget requirements. You will take ownership of the Department P&L Trading numbers.


Responsibilities

Programme Manager 

Job Title: Programme Manager 

Location:  Portsmouth

Position type: Full time,  12 month FTC

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager to join the team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be responsible for managing a programme to deliver strategic, business critical change working with multiple 3rd party vendors; system integrators and key business stakeholders. 

The programme looks to replace the current ecommerce architecture with a headless website architecture with best in class business tools and processes to improve customer experience and profitability whilst providing a platform for rapid change to drive future strategy and roadmaps. 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the development of a programme roadmap from definition through to development and implementation, using agile principles 
  • Working with multiple 3rd parties to produce an overall programme plan detailing out phases, tasks, milestones and resources
  • Responsible for direction of resources and teams internally to deliver as per the overall programme plan
  • Ensure internal teams are working consistently within agreed methodology, giving direction to project managers / scrum masters as required
  • To drive the programme providing strategic direction and escalation management
  • Responsible for ensuring programme follows agreed governance as agreed at programme initiation, setting up regular checkpoints with all parties concerned 
  • Build and maintain a range of senior stakeholder relationships and influence stakeholders to support change agenda and the target operation model
  • Communication of complex problems / solutions in an articulate manner, using data to support and influence stakeholders
  • Capture and manage RAID, highlighting any significant risks, issues or dependencies to PMO and senior stakeholders
  • Capture and tightly manage programme budget, both external and internal resource spend
  • Create and update resource plans, highlighting conflicts to PMO and Steering Group in advance of conflicts
  • Ensure programme documentation stored centrally and is current and available to programme stakeholders as required
  • Manage change requests to ensure delivery timelines are not blindly impacted and business value is assessed. 
  • Work with programme resource and business teams to ensure appropriate communication, training and business readiness tasks take place to allow a smooth transition to the new tools. 

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Programme Manager
  • Experience of managing multiple 3rd parties, (both vendors and development partners) within a programme
  • Experience of managing medium to large change delivery programmes (both IT and business) in a fast-paced environment involving cultural, system, process and people impact 
  • Experience of working within an Agile software development environment 
  • Previous retail industry and or eCommerce experience is an advantage 
  • Experience of working within a distributed project team  
  • A good understanding of commercial priorities and the trading environment would be an advantage

  • Regular analysis of campaign performance
  • Close working relationship with WiggleCRC Digital Strategy team to ensure latest technologies and best practices are adopted
  • Identify opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Own content plan to help grow organic traffic
  • Other work as required by the team

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Spanish language skills required
  • Excellent communicator in English required
  • Written / spoken language skills for another language an advantage
  • 1-2+ year paid search experience
  • Experience in using Online Marketing platforms (such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Understanding of how search engines work
  • Some experience of bid management tools a plus
  • Retail or e-commerce experience desirable 
  • An interest and knowledge in tri-sports are also desirable
  • Be able to work effectively with minimal direction
  • Ability to multi task across a number of channels and projects
