This race-ready XC wheelset is equipped with two maxtal aluminium rims, which offer a fantastic balance of strength and durability as you tackle demanding terrain conditions on your ride. Mavic has also kitted out this model with tubeless-ready technology, so you can run lower tyre pressures and benefit from tubeless benefits such as increased traction, lower rolling resistance and fewer chances of flats or punctures. Another highlight is its 6-bolt disc brake compatibility, which ensures powerful and responsive braking performance as you battle for the finish line.
The rims are made with Mavic's patented Fore technology with a fully sealed upper rim bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape. This saves 30 grams per wheel, not to mention the hassles associated with tape when setting up tubeless tyres. The Infinity hub is lighter and features updated spoke lacing which increases stiffness for better power transfer, and the Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet provides fast engagement. It’s compatible with a 15x110 front axle and 12x148 rear, and comes with valves, replacement spokes and accessories.
Engineered with a specific rim profile that uses a 25mm internal width, this wheelset can boost the performance of your bike at a price that’s more accessible compared to carbon wheel options. The rims also feature Mavic's Black Shield technology, which protects against scratches and dents, so you can charge hard through rock gardens and rough singletrack.
