Coming equipped with a tough maxtal aluminium rim construction, this wheelset is specifically designed to handle the increased speed, torque and power produced by E-MTB motor systems. Thanks to its Boost axle spacing, it delivers stronger and stiffer rolling performance, making it ideal for tackling the most demanding of terrain conditions on your ride. Another highlight is its tubeless ready technology, which allows you to enjoy tubeless advantages such as the ability to run lower tyre pressures for greater stability on rough terrain, lower rolling resistance and fewer risks of flats or punctures.
Mavic's patented Pinch Flat Protection (PFP technology) features rims with a wider contact surface at the top of sidewall to significantly reduce the risk of tyre cuts and punctures. The 30mm wide rims allow you to run lower tyre pressure for better traction and smooth-rolling efficiency. Its patented Fore technology uses a fully sealed upper rim bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape, making it the easiest system for mounting and changing tubeless tyres.
ISM rim machining removes material from the rims in strategic areas to minimise weight without compromising strength, and Mavic's Black Shield treatment protects the rims against impacts and scratches. It uses 28 straight-pull spokes (same spoke length throughout) for a strong connection between the rim and hub, which has an ultra-reliable ID360 double ratchet system for quick engagement and acceleration. Set up for Centre Lock disc mounts, the Mavic E-Deemax S 30 Disc MTB Wheelset is available for MicroSpline freewheel bodies and comes complete with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.
