Wider = Improved Performance
Prime's BlackEdition Wheelsets feature a 27.5mm wide rim, which improves aerodynamics, stability and handling, giving you the confidence to push for the podium. And when paired with a wider (25c or above) tyre, it creates a more linear contour between the tyre and rim interface, reducing rolling resistance and creating a greater contact patch for greater stability in corners.
Lightweight Rim
Since the release of their original BlackEdition wheels, Prime have been working hard in search of marginal gains, however, shaving 50g per rim can't really be described as marginal. They've upgaded their carbon and tested countless different lay-ups before finding the perfect balance of light weight and strength.
Instant Acceleration
BlackEditions are hand built with the 7075 alloy bodied R010 hubs that feature 4 pawls with 26 points of engagement for instant acceleration and positive engagement. The R010 hubset takes advantage of straight pull spokes to create a stiffer wheel.

CeramicSpeed Bearings
CeramicSpeed bearings will dramatically improve performance and longevity. They are known to reduce friction and the lifetime is significantly increased to 3-5 times that of standard bearings.
