This easy-to-install tubeless Schwalbe Hans Dampf Addix tyre features the renowned ADDIX compound, giving it remarkable versatility and excellent rolling performance for an advantage on enduro rides. The sidewall has also been strengthened to ensure added puncture resistance on the roughest mountain bike (MTB) trails.
ADDIX Performance: This compound, although being the best value for money, is still very durable, very versatile and provides excellent rolling performance and grip. Similar to ADDIX Speedgrip, it is a universal compound, suited to most riding scenarios but the main difference is that they are not quite as light or as fast as tyres from the Evolution Line.
Tubeless Technology: Friction between the tyre and tube is now a thing of the past. This crucially reduces the rolling resistance. It is even smaller than with super light competition tyres. With tubeless, you can ride with less air pressure without restrictions on performance. This brings noticeable advantages in comfort, but also significantly more control in critical situations and on poor routes. Tubeless systems provide very high puncture protection. Sudden air loss due to bursting tubes or the valve tearing is ruled out. At the same time, puncture protection fluid seals incisions within a tenth of a second, during the ride.
TubelessEasy: The Monofile SnakeSkin fabric on the side wall makes the tubeless conversion for the MTB extremely easy and safe. It also provides the best cut protection on the side wall.
E-25: Tyres with the recommendation "E-25" are the perfect choice for all pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h. The most important criterion for this recommendation: safety.
